Overview

Our Cottage Day Centre is a centre  operated for the benefit of older residents of varying dependencies who live in its catchment area.

The Cottage is open Monday and Thursday when clients are welcomed by our staff for hot lunches and a range of shared activities and visiting services.

Our popular drivers pick up and drop off our clients from home as part of a door-to-door service in wheelchair-accessible minibuses. Family, friends and carers are also welcome to drive our clients themselves directly to The Cottage.

Facilities

The Day Centre has a lounge looking out onto our the beautiful Waller park. The floor is level throughout the building, perfect for Zimmer frames and trolleys..

On-site services

We provide a home-cooked lunch with tea and coffees. Fun and games and many other mental and physical activities for all guest to partake in. 

Other services

We work very closely with other charities in the area that provide other services.

Activities designed to engage and entertain our clients are held throughout the year and include:

• Visiting theatre groups
• The ever-popular bingo.
